ALL SIX NATIONS DIVISIONS NOW COMPLETE

Under 18 Six Nations Festival LLandovery RFC Wales

England win their third successive U18 Six Nations Grand Slam after continuing a run of 18 international victories with a 41-17 win against Ireland at Llandovery, Wales on 06/04/10

WalesvIreland 02/04/10
The Wales front row ensured the teams first half dominance remained with the Welsh until half way through the second half the front row was surprisingly substituted.
After that decision the teams were evenly matched and Ireland almost snatched a win in the dying moments of the match.
Final score 24-18
EnglandvScotland 02/04/10
There is added interest with every England fixture now as curiosity and admiration grows with an age division that has seen an amazing three year unbeaten international run of 16 test victories going into the Llandovery festival. Will this continue or will Scotland or Ireland stop this extraordinary record.
After a penalty ridden first half where English supporters might have been forgiven for thinking the Welsh referee was against them scoring was limited to exchanged penalty kicks but it was in the second half that showed the maturity of the English team with a determined professional performance that superceded their teen tag resulting in an eventual powered 17th win. The forwards dominated in the second half and the backs had to much pace and invention.
Final score 29-9

Under 18  boys Six Nations festival will get into full gear over the Easter holiday period at Llandovery RFC in Wales starting with Wales v Ireland on Friday 02/04/10 at 2pm then Scotland vEngland at 4pm.

England will wear a commemorative jersey at Twickenham to celebrate the stadium's 100th year as home to English rugby when
they take on Wales in the Six Nations on February 6.
The Twickenham site was originally used as a cabbage patch in 1907 when it was purchased by the RFU for just over £5,500 which would explain
the name given to the nearby Cabbage Patch pub just down the road from Twickenham railway station.
